Brian Lloyd

Brian Lloyd has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Brian started their career in 1999 as a Customer Service Representative at Walmart. In 2005, they began working at Salt Lake Community College as an Adjunct Instructor, Technician I, Lab Aide, and Adjunct Instructor. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a County Technician at Coast to Coast Temporary Services. In 2007, they were a Technical Support at AltaPoint Data Systems. In 2009, they began working at Rise Broadband as a Network Architect and Network Engineer. In 2013, they were a Network Engineer at Syringa Networks. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Vivint Internet as a Sr Network Engineer - Core Network Architecture / R & D, Manager of Network Engineering - Operations, Sr Network Engineer - Operations, and Sr. Systems Engineer. Brian currently works as a DevOps Manager at Utah Telecommunication Open Infrastructure Agency (UTOPIA Fiber).

Brian Lloyd has a diverse educational background. Brian obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Weber State University from 2008 to 2014. Brian also obtained an Associate of Science and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science and Telecommunications, respectively, from Salt Lake Community College from 2002 to 2009. Brian also has numerous certifications, including CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Automation and DevOps (JNCIA-DevOps), Juniper Networks Certified Professional, Data Center (JNCIP-DC), Juniper Networks Certified Specialist, Enterprise Routing & Switching (JNCIS-ENT), Juniper Networks Certified Specialist, Service Provider Routing & Switching (JNCIS-SP), and CCNA Routing and Switching from Cisco, obtained between 2005 and 2020.
