Artem Shuster is currently an advisor at UTU Technologies. Artem has also previously worked as the Chief Marketing Officer at Yandex Eats from October 2019 to January 2021, and as the CEMEA Head of Local Marketing and Partnerships at PayPal from August 2017 to August 2019.
Shuster has extensive experience in brand building, strategy, acquisition and retention activities. At Yandex Eats, they led massive activities to boost market share by 5ppts. in 2 months during early pandemic, and launched 20+ campaigns to increase "coolness" of the brand and win over competition by 6ppts. Artem also delivered 8% trial for new business vertical (groceries) over-performing targets by 40%, and step changed CRM performance to deliver >1% of total sales.
At PayPal, Shuster was responsible for b2c and b2b marketing agenda for 80+ countries with focus on acquisition, engagement and retention. Artem successfully redesigned co-marketing approach for the region, which resulted in acquisition of over 100K new users through partners’ network. Artem also identified freelancers as a new target audience, which became overall business growth strategy; marketing programs delivered ~300% ROI. In addition, they led new product launch in Kenya leading to 70% product adoption (within user base) and resulting in doubling the business in 12 months.
Artem Shuster has a Master's degree in International Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). Artem is also certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
