Carson Franklin

Carson Franklin has extensive experience in the IT industry, spanning over two decades. Carson started their career at Applied Digital Solutions in 2001 as a Systems Engineer, where they managed network operations and performed deployments for enterprise and mid-market clients. In 2004, they joined USWired Inc. as a Systems Engineer, where they continued to manage network operations and perform deployments of various networking infrastructure and server systems.

In 2007, Carson became the President of Franklin Technology Management, Inc. During their tenure, they planned, executed, and supported complex IT projects for numerous clients in both the public and private sectors. Carson specialized in transitioning clients from traditional on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based infrastructure. Carson also served as the primary managed service provider for multiple mid-market and enterprise-sized clients.

Carson's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found 1Up Cloud in 2017, where they provided web design, hosting, and digital marketing services to small and mid-size businesses. Carson designed and implemented a fully customized hosting platform and successfully sold the company after its establishment.

Carson founded Elevate Cloud Solutions, Inc. in 2019, focusing on providing Managed Workspace-as-a-Service solutions tailored to small and mid-market businesses. The company planned, designed, deployed, and supported various aspects of clients' IT needs, leveraging enterprise cloud technologies.

In 2023, Carson joined Uturn Data Solutions as a Senior Cloud Architect, further enhancing their expertise in cloud architecture and solutions.

Carson Franklin attended California State University, Monterey Bay from 1999 to 2004. During this time, they studied Telecommunications, Multimedia, and Applied Computing, although they did not obtain a degree.

Additionally, Carson Franklin has obtained several certifications. In September 2017, they became a Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP). In April 2023, they completed multiple certifications from Coursera, including AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Specialization, AWS Cloud Technical Essentials, Architecting Solutions on AWS, Exam Prep: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, and Introduction to Designing Data Lakes on AWS. Furthermore, they acquired the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2023.
