Peter de Wit

Peter De Wit is an experienced executive in the natural gas and LNG sectors, currently serving as the Executive Vice President Gas, Asia at Royal Dutch Shell since January 2005, with responsibilities reported to the Executive Board. Previously, Peter held the position of Executive Vice President, LNG, overseeing global LNG operations. Peter also contributes to the non-profit sector as a Member of the Board of Trustees for United World Schools since August 2018 and has served on various boards, including GlassPoint Solar and Woodside Petroleum Ltd. Peter's advisory role at Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos EP from January 2014 to June 2018 and presidency at Shell Netherlands B.V. further underscore a robust career in energy. Peter studied at Trinity College Dublin, earning a BA Hons and MA in Economics and Political Science.
