Eric Florence

Eric Florence is a physician specializing in General Internal Medicine, Intensive Care, Infectiology—particularly HIV, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and Tropical Medicine—as well as Clinical Research focusing on Clinical Trials and Clinical Epidemiology. Eric served as a resident in the Intensive Care Unit at ZNA from 2004 to 2006, and later headed the HIV/STD clinic at the Institute of Tropical Medicine from 2008 to 2022. In 2022, Eric worked as a senior staff member at UZA and as an external consultant for the Tropical Medicine Ward. Eric completed extensive education at the University of Antwerp, Université catholique de Louvain, and Université de Namur, holding degrees in Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
