Ive Verbeeck has extensive experience in nursing, currently serving as a nurse in critical services (ICU/PACU/Emergency) and in cardiology/CCU at UZA since January 2020. In addition, Ive holds a position as a board member of the Belgian Working Group on Cardiovascular Nursing since October 2020. Previously, Ive worked at UZ Leuven from July 2014 to December 2019 as a head nurse and nursing consultant for pulmonary hypertension, as well as a transplant nurse. From September 2016 to August 2018, Ive served as a nursing instructor at the Sint-Franciscusinstituut voor Verpleegkunde Leuven. Academic qualifications include a Master in Nursing from KU Leuven, a postgraduate in Critical Care from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, a Bachelor in Nursing from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven, and ongoing continuing education in pulmonology and organ transplantation at UZ Leuven, along with a teaching diploma from CVO De Oranjerie.
