Peter Verdonk is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon specializing in knee surgery, currently practicing at AZ Monica since 2013. They previously worked as an orthopaedic surgeon at UZ Gent and Stedelijk Ziekenhuis Roeselare from 2006 to 2012. In addition to their clinical practice, Peter has served as a professor in orthopaedics and traumatology at Universiteit Gent from 2011 to 2016 and is presently a guest professor in orthopaedic surgery at UZA. Peter holds an MD in medicine and a PhD in human meniscus tissue engineering, transplantation, and characterization from Universiteit Gent.
