Renka Cools

Renka Cools has extensive experience in nursing and healthcare management, currently serving as the Head Nurse for abdominal surgery and urology at UZA since August 2021. Renka's prior roles include Head Nurse at UZ Brussel, where duties encompassed various specialties including oncological thoracic surgery and gastroenterology, as well as positions as a study nurse and graduated nurse. Renka has also held leadership positions at Arfo Foto N.V. since 2008 and worked in intensive care and home care nursing earlier in the career. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Antwerp and multiple certifications from Vlerick Business School.
