Sigrid Stroobants

Sigrid Stroobants has over 20 years of experience in the field of nuclear medicine. Sigrid began their career as a staflid nucleaire geneeskunde at UZ Gasthuisberg in 1998 and held this role until 2008. In September 2008, they joined UZA as the Head of Department Nuclear Medicine, where they continue to serve.

Sigrid Stroobants attended the Koninklijk atheneum Keerbergen from 1972 to 1983. After completing their studies there, they enrolled in KU Leuven from 1983 to 1990, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
