Stijn de Schepper

Stijn De Schepper currently serves as the Head of Department for Medical Physics at Helix Netwerk since February 2023 and has held the position of Medical Physics Expert in Nuclear Medicine at UZA since June 2018. Additionally, Stijn De Schepper is pursuing a PhD at the University of Antwerp, focusing on the application of absolute quantification in diagnostic SPECT/CT, while also engaging in volunteer research in Nuclear Medicine. Prior experience includes roles as a Junior Design Engineer in Core & Fuel Studies and functional analysis for PWR plants at TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING - GDF SUEZ GROUP from September 2013 to January 2018, along with completing a Nuclear Trainee Programme with distinction. Stijn De Schepper's educational background includes multiple degrees from KU Leuven, culminating in postgraduate studies in Medical Radiation Physics and a Master of Science in Medical Radiation Physics.
