Murat Yılmazel is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the shipping industry. They served as Chartering Manager at Neta Shipping from 1997 to 2000 and later as General Manager at Uzmar Shipping from 2013 to 2016. Murat held the position of Group Manager at Borusan Logistics from 2017 to 2019 and worked as an Assistant General Manager at Uzmar Shipping from 2005 to 2013. Currently, they are a Senior Consultant and Harbour Pilot at UZMAR since 2019 and previously contributed to academia as a Lecturer at Dokuz Eylul University Maritime Faculty from 2000 to 2005.
