Mike Phillips

Mike Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mike began their career as a Production Staff at James Madison University Marching Royal Dukes. Mike then progressed to leadership roles within the same organization, culminating in their position as Drum Major, leading a band of over 400 musicians and coordinating events and trips.

After their time in the marching band, Mike worked as an Applications Engineer at ColonialWebb, where they designed and programmed building control and automation systems, focusing on front-end development and web applications.

Mike then joined Alton Lane as a Software Developer, responsible for designing and implementing front-end user experiences using various technologies. Mike worked closely with executive leadership, marketing, and design teams, leading UI/UX decisions to support the company's digital presence.

Recently, Mike has been associated with UZURV as a Full Stack Developer, progressing to the role of Team Lead. Mike'sresponsibilities include developing and leading a team in the development of full-stack solutions.

In addition to their professional experience, Mike also contributed to James River High School as a Visual Caption Head/Designer, leveraging their skills and experience in leadership and design.

Mike Phillips obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended the Virginia Governor's School for Science and Technology from 2006 to 2007, focusing on Computer Science. In addition, they have obtained certification in NiagaraAX Framework from the AX Certification Program in 2013.
