Olga Simson

Chief Strategist, Co-founder at V-Art

Olga Simson has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Olga is currently a Fellowship Researcher at Queen Mary University of London since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher at the Centre d'Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle - CEIPI from July 2022. Olga also has experience as the Chief Strategist and Co-founder of V.Art, a role they held since January 2020. Before that, they served as the CEO of the Institute of Law, Technology & Innovation (ILTI) starting from August 2016. Olga also worked as a Doctoral Researcher at the IP Research Institute of the National Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine, and a Professor at the National University named after Yaroslav Mudry, starting from 2005 and 2004 respectively. Olga was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Uniwersytet SWPS from June 2022 to September 2022. Additionally, Olga was a Member of the Strategic Council at the PPP Ukrainian Center from 2013 to March 2020 and the Director of the Institute of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine named after Y.Mudry from 2015 to June 2016. Finally, they worked as an Advisor to the Head of the State Agency for Science, Innovation, and Informatization of Ukraine from 2010 to January 2014.

Olga Simson pursued their education at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. From 1993 to 1998, they obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in the field of law. Later, from 2009 to 2015, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree, specializing in jurisprudence.
