Jayson Akers

Jayson Akers began their work experience in 2004 as a Search Engine Optimization Analyst at iCrossing. Jayson later became a Senior Strategist in SEO from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, Jayson joined PMX Agency as a Senior Strategist in Enterprise SEO. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Digital Current as the Director of Search Engine Optimization and then as the Director of Strategy Business Development from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, Jayson joined V Digital Services as the Director of Search Engine Optimization, and later became the Director of SEO in 2021. In addition, throughout their career, they have been a Co-Founder and Digital Marketing Consultant at their own company.

Jayson Akers started their education at Rio Salado College in 1997, where they studied Computer Science and Business. Jayson attended this college for one year until 1998. In 2000, they enrolled in Collins College and pursued studies in Web Design, Development, and Marketing, completing their education there in 2001.

Additionally, Jayson has obtained several certifications in the field of digital marketing. In 2008 and 2010, they earned the SEMPO Advanced SEO Certification from SEMPO. In 2017, they obtained the Google AdWords Fundamentals Certification, Google AdWords Search Advertising Certification, Google Digital Sales Certification, and Google Analytics Certification from Google. Furthermore, in 2018, Jayson obtained the SEMrush SEO Toolkit certification from SEMrush.
