Romel John

Romel John possesses extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently holding the position of Senior Superintendent for Marine Safety and Quality at V.Ships since February 2008. Previous roles include Marine Safety and Quality Superintendent and Senior HSEQ Superintendent at the same company, as well as Captain at Rex Shipping and Chief Officer at BP Shipping. Romel began their maritime career as a Navigation Officer at Selandia Ship Management and worked as a Cadet Officer at Red Sea Marine Services. Educational qualifications include a Master Mariner degree from Glasgow Nautical College and a Master's in Nautical Science. Additionally, Romel holds a Diploma in Navigation from the University of Tasmania.
