Sylvia Tan

Sylvia Tan is currently serving as the Regional Crew Management Partner at V.Group since May 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing crew management and crewing operations in the China region while providing expert support to the Managing Director. Prior experience includes roles at Tai Chong Cheang Steamship Co. (H.K.) Limited, where Sylvia held the positions of Fleet Personnel & Training Manager and Assistant Manager, managing crew recruitment, performance evaluations, compliance, and budget control. Previous roles at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement and Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. focused on crew management, liaising with various stakeholders, and payroll oversight. Sylvia holds a college degree in English Education and Translation from Jixi University, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
