Colin Middleton

Colin Middleton has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Colin began their career in 1998 at SGI as a Junior - Senior Technical Consultant, where they were responsible for developing bespoke real-time graphics solutions. During their tenure, they worked on notable projects such as the British Museum Mummy The Inside Story, where they contributed to software and show development.

In 2008, Colin joined GE as a Lead Software Engineer (Visualisation). In this role, they developed software for Embedding Training Solutions using OpenSceneGraph, C++, and shaders. Colin also developed applications for Situational Awareness systems on PC platforms, with a focus on abstraction of video sources to allow for mocks and delivered products. Colin successfully contributed to the company for six years.

Currently, Colin works at V-Nova Ltd. as the Group Lead for Engineering since 2014. Further details about their role are not available at this time.

Colin Middleton received their MEng degree in Electrical and Information Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
