Stephen Cheng

Stephen Cheng is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the development of PCTV and IPCAM products. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Sigma Designs since May 2012, Stephen has previously held similar positions at Trident Microsystems, where focus was on developing PCTV cards with MPEG2 encoders, and at NXP, where responsibilities included overseeing PCTV card products featuring various decoders and encoders. Earlier roles at AVIP Technology Co., Ltd involved developing IPCAM products, while initial career experience at PCT included providing design references for the DiBCom DVB-T Demodulator chip. Stephen Cheng holds an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National CHIN-YI Institute of Technology and further education from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
