Melissa Moore

Melissa Moore, the HR Generalist, was initially drawn to V-Tech due to the focus on the community and culture. To Melissa, D.C. has always represented an opportunity for growth and development and she found this opportunity within V-Tech. Being originally from Maryland, Melissa attended University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with both a B.A. in Journalism and a B.A. in Sociology. In the HR Department, Melissa maintains day-to-day operations such as recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, employee communications and more. Joining V-Tech in the HR Generalist role was really a surprise for Melissa, “She did not know that Human Resources was an area that she would be excited about but through necessity and through her work at V-Tech she was able to be exposed to the world of Human Resources. She have found that she really enjoy engaging with employees, developing human resources processes, analyzing efficiencies, and working with the staff to create a positive employment experience.”
