Neil Mitra

Neil Mitra is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mitra Biotechnologies, which focuses on nanomaterial platforms for next-generation point-of-care diagnostics. Neil is a member of the Masason Foundation, recognized as one of 34 global individuals by SoftBank Group Corp., and a participant in the Z Fellows July 2023 Cohort. Neil holds the position of Venture Partner at V11 and is engaged as a Cansbridge Fellow, selected as one of 15 undergraduate students across Canada. In addition, Neil is a Fellow at Next Chapter, an international community for exceptional young innovators, and serves as Innovate Alumni and Innovator with The Knowledge Society. Academic pursuits include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at The University of British Columbia, along with research roles at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and UCLA. Prior experience includes a hardware engineering internship at Midjourney.
