Andrew Purvis

Andrew Purvis has diverse experience in data analysis and sports analytics, currently serving as a Supply Chain Data Analyst at V2X Inc and Director of Basketball Analytics at Jackson Preparatory School since October 2025. Recently, Andrew completed a Student Capstone project at Telemetry Sports, where a machine learning algorithm was developed to classify intended play types with 94.4% accuracy. Prior roles include a Sales and Operations Planning Intern at Celanese, where valuable contributions were made to the supply chain team, and Summer Camp Counselor positions at First Presbyterian Day School and Kanakuk. Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Sports Engineering at Purdue University.
