Cal Lea

Cal Lea currently serves as Technical Director at V2X Inc since July 2022. Prior experience includes a tenure at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) from August 2007 to December 2019 as Technical Director of Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL), overseeing the Navy's primary flight and ground test activities for aviation systems. Previous roles include Technical Director at Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Two Three (VX-23), and Platform Coordinator for both the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and T-45 Goshawk. Beginning a career at the Naval Air Warfare Center in July 1984, responsibilities included work as a Carrier Suitability Flight Test Engineer. Cal Lea holds a Master of Science in Aviation Systems from the University of Tennessee Space Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace & Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech, in addition to graduating from the United States Naval Test Pilot School with a focus on fixed wing flight testing.
