James Hurd

James Hurd currently serves as LOGCAP V Sr. Fire Chief for Iraq at V2X Inc, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this role, James had an extensive career at Amentum as BLiSS/Iraq Programs Deputy Fire Chief and Site Fire Chief from January 2014 to January 2024. James also worked as a Property Manager at The Buffalo Group in 2012 and spent nearly five years at Kellogg, Brown & Root in various capacities including Document Management and Property Administrator, and Fire Program Manager. Earlier experience includes serving in the United States Air Force as a Driver-Operator and at the United States Department of Defense as a Driver-Operator/EMT. James's educational background includes studies at Texas A&M University, Shelton State Community College, and the Community College of the Air Force.
