Sofia Persson

Sofia Persson is a Security Strategist at VA SYD, currently focused on enhancing safety measures within the organization. Previously, they served as a Security Strategist for Helsingborgs stad from 2016 to 2023, where they specialized in crisis preparedness, collaboration, and civil defense. Sofia contributed to the development of a handbook on municipal crisis preparedness while working with MSB from 2020 to 2022. They also gained experience in humanitarian affairs during an internship with the United Nations OCHA in 2014 and worked as a Technical Consultant at SWECO the same year. Sofia holds a Master's degree in Risk Management and Safety Engineering from Lund University, as well as qualifications in Environmental Engineering and crisis preparedness.
