Henry Mathys

Henry Mathys is a dedicated professional involved in socio-economic development, focusing on creating shared value, social inclusion, and sustainability. Currently a board member at The Craft + Design Institute and a trustee for the Two Oceans Aquarium Foundation, they contribute to governance and strategy in advancing community and environmental initiatives. Previously, Henry held various roles, including Head Site Manager for the Cape Town International Jazz Festival and Senior Event Coordinator at the V&A Waterfront. Henry has also gained expertise in marketing and project management through internships and early career positions. Henry is pursuing a PGDip in Management Practice at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, enhancing their leadership skills in economic development.
