Michael Ma is a seasoned machine learning engineer with extensive experience in data analytics and recommender systems. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Vacasa since December 2023, Michael previously worked at ParshipMeet Group as a Machine Learning Engineer from April 2021 to April 2023, and at CENTURY Tech as a Data Scientist from July 2018 to July 2020. Prior roles include Data Scientist at CAKE (getCAKE.com) focusing on Multi-Touch Attribution, and Portfolio Manager at the University of California San Diego, managing a portion of the university endowment fund. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Joint Mathematics & Economics from UC San Diego and several Nanodegrees from Udacity in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning Engineering, along with completing a summer program at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
