Maya Wildgoose

Maya Wildgoose is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching Earth Science at Vacaville High School since May 2014. Prior to this role, Maya served as a student teacher under Erik Nemer at Natomas Unified School District, where instruction was provided to 9th-12th graders. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Geology/Earth Science from UC Davis, where Maya also worked as a graduate researcher and teaching assistant, focusing on lab instruction and field exercises. Additionally, Maya gained early experience as an intern for California Magazine, contributing to articles on campus and science topics. Maya holds a Single Subject Credential in Secondary Education from UC Davis and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology/Earth Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
