David Askenteg currently serves as the Director of Product Management for Smart Machines at Väderstad AB since June 2023. Prior to this role, David held multiple positions at NIRA Dynamics AB from September 2011 to June 2023, where responsibilities included Product Owner for Road Surface Information, leading teams to develop connected products, acting as Head of Business Unit, and managing customer projects related to tire pressure monitoring systems. Earlier experience includes consultancy roles at Cybercom and Tieto, as well as a Systems Engineer position at Saab Bofors Dynamics. David holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from Linköping University and completed the Projektledarprogrammet at Wenell Management in 2014.
