Michael Cavanaugh

Michael Cavanaugh is an accomplished filmmaker with extensive experience spanning over 25 years in various roles, including Head of Video at Vagaro, Freelance Creative Producer/Director, and Supervising Editor at Tippett Studio. Currently, at Vagaro since November 2022, Michael oversees a film/video team, executing creative projects such as customer stories and advertisements. Previously, at Tippett Studio, responsibilities included editing CG-animated characters into live-action films and supervising the editorial pipeline. Notably, Michael has also held significant positions at Apple, editing commercials and product launch videos, and has directed multiple campaigns for companies like Intel and Tostitos. Michael holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Drama Therapy from California Institute of Integral Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Drama from Tufts University.
