Patrick Wu

Patrick Wu is an accomplished technology leader with a strong background in product management and engineering. Currently serving as the SVP of Product and Engineering at Vaidio since May 2015, Patrick drives the strategic vision and execution of the company’s AI, cloud, and big data solutions, while also defining the product roadmap and aligning R&D initiatives with business objectives. Previous roles include VP of Engineering and Professional Services Manager at IronYun, where Patrick led engineering teams and developed a deep learning-based cloud video search system. Patrick's experience also encompasses a Principal Cloud Architect position at Iveda, where a high-availability framework for video surveillance was designed, and an engineering role at ITRI focused on cloud platform development. Additionally, Patrick was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Washington and a lecturer, teaching programming courses and mentoring students. Patrick holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from National Sun Yat-Sen University.
