As the Founder President and President & CEO of Vaidio since January 2015, Paul Sun is focused on developing leading AI and big data video solutions. Previously, Paul Sun served as Director of the Cloud Computing Center at the Industrial Technology Research Institute from 2009 to 2015, contributing to applied research and technical services. Earlier career highlights include founding Motia Inc. (2001-2007), where Paul Sun developed semiconductor chipsets for WiMax, WiFi, and satellite radio, and leading DSL.net as Chairman & CTO (1997-2001) to provide broadband services for SMEs. Additionally, Paul Sun was President & CEO of Avidia Systems Inc. (1995-1997), guiding the company from inception to acquisition. Paul Sun holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree from National Taiwan University.
