Mark Barnes serves as the Vice President of Litigation and Assistant General Counsel at Vail Resorts Management Company since June 2015, overseeing litigation, liability claims, and governmental investigations. Prior to this role, Mark was a Shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck from December 2000 to June 2015, where a diverse litigation practice addressed complex commercial disputes for a range of clients. Earlier experience includes positions as an attorney at Freeborn & Peters LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Mark holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Iowa State University.
