Peter Given

Peter Given is an experienced food science consultant currently working at AlterEcho since April 2021, and also serves as the Director of Coffee Science & Technology at Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. since June 2019, where a foundational science and technology program for coffee has been established. Prior to these roles, Peter Given held significant positions at PepsiCo from January 1994 to December 2013, providing technical leadership on global health-focused programs, and at Kraft Foods Group from January 1989 to January 1994, directing a team of scientists in food innovation. Additionally, Peter Given was a Group Leader at Nabisco from May 1981 to January 1989, focusing on product development and assay techniques. Academically, Peter Given obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Syracuse University and a PhD in Biochemistry from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
