Jake Schmitz

Jake Schmitz has a strong background in software engineering and management. Jake started their career as a Software Quality Assurance Intern at Kingland Systems, where they created test plans and test scripts for web-based financial products. Jake then joined Technology Services Group - Chicago as a Consultant, working with clients on Enterprise Content Management solutions using Documentum and Java Web Application technologies. Jake later joined Vail Systems as a Web Development Manager and then as a Director of Application Development. Jake then worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Enova International. Throughout their career, Jake has gained extensive experience in project management, software development, and quality assurance.

Jake Schmitz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in April 2022, and React: Using TypeScript from LinkedIn in February 2022.
