Tim Foss

Tim Foss has a strong background in information security and IT audit with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Tim began their career in 1998 as the Manager of Internal Audit at Transamerica, where they managed general controls and application controls reviews. Tim then moved on to Bally Total Fitness Corp. as an IT Audit Manager, delivering accurate audits and overseeing SOX compliance. Tim later joined CME Group, where they served as the Director of Global Information Security. In this role, they directed the creation of the overall cloud strategy, implemented security frameworks, and managed IT risk. Tim also supervised the implementation of privileged management and access governance solutions. Tim then worked at IFG as the National IT Consulting Services Director, providing cloud strategy guidance and assisting companies with compliance reviews. Tim currently works at Vail Systems as the Director of Information Security.

Tim Foss holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management, as well as Theology from Concordia University Chicago. Tim also pursued a Masters degree in Management Information Systems, General from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Tim has obtained several certifications, including CHFI, CISA, CISSP, CPA, and CRISC from institutions such as ISACA and ISC2.
