Alessandro Ferrante

Alessandro Ferrante has a strong background in software development and technical training within the telecommunications industry. Alessandro started their career as a Research Assistant at TKK in 2002. From 2004 to 2014, Ferrante worked at Tellabs as a Lead Technical Trainer, delivering technical courses on various technologies and equipment. Alessandro also participated in projects to develop and update training materials and supported customer troubleshooting. In 2014, Ferrante joined Coriant, Inc. as a Senior Consultant, where they developed scripts and tools to assist customers and provided customization support for Coriant products. Alessandro later took on the role of Lead Technical Trainer, delivering technical courses on PDH/SDH, IP/MPLS technologies, and Coriant equipment. Ferrante then moved to Infinera in 2018 as a Senior Consultant, where they developed scripts and tools to improve customer experience with Infinera products. Currently, Ferrante is working at VALA Group Oy as a Senior Software Developer, where they develop software for various customers and business cases, using different programming languages. Alessandro also tests and develops automated tests for customers, primarily using Robot Framework and Python.

Alessandro Ferrante obtained a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma during the period from 1991 to 2003. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan between 2001 and 2002.
