Teppo Savinen

Teppo Savinen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Teppo started their career in 1989 as the CEO and owner of Sininen Omena, a small software company where they provided consultation and software development services. In 1992, they transitioned to Helsinki School of Economics as a software analyst. From 1998 to 1999, Teppo worked as a System Engineer at Teamware Group. Teppo then joined Nokia Networks in 1999 as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in MMSC. In 2002, they moved to Nokia Mobile Phones as a Specialist in software design for MMSC. Teppo continued their journey at Nokia, taking on various roles including Chief Architect in the Nokia Ventures Organization, where they worked on experimental projects such as Bluetooth-based advertising and content delivery systems and NFC-enabled services creation. Teppo also served as an Architect for Widsets and as a Client Architect for Mobile Financial Services. In 2013, Teppo founded their own company called Teepoware, where they served as the CEO. Teppo later joined the University of Helsinki as an IT Specialist in 2015 before joining VALA Group as a Software Developer later in the same year.

Teppo Savinen attended the Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu from 1980 to 1995, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Systems and data processing.
