Pit Heimes is currently the Director of the Private Equity Practice at valantic, where they focus on product and tech due diligence. They have held previous positions as an Investment Manager at Nordwind Growth and as a Manager of Transaction Services - Technology at wdp GmbH, where they specialized in technology and commercial due diligence. Pit gained experience as a Senior Enterprise Architect at the Industrie 4.0 Maturity Center, contributing to digital maturity assessments and software architecture design. They began their career as an intern at H.C. Starck, where they earned a Six Sigma green belt and developed skills in lean manufacturing. They hold a Master of Science in Production Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, where they also completed a Ph.D. thesis on Distributed Ledger Technology and its industrial applications.
