Rachel Phan

Rachel Phan has work experience in various industries and roles. Rachel is currently a Finance Associate at Valar Ventures LLC, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Standish Management, LLC from 2020 to 2021, where they held the positions of Senior Associate and Associate. In their roles at Standish Management, they prepared financial statements, posted journal entries, and managed portfolio company funding and invoice payments. Rachel also has experience as a Research Fellow at Loyola University Chicago from 2017 to 2020. Rachel has also worked as a Farm Hand & Intern at Tantre Farm in 2019 and as a Tax Preparer & Accounting Intern at Jesser, Ravid, Jason, Basso and Farber LLP from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they have interned at The Chicago Community Trust, Housing Opportunities for Women (HOW), and Stand for Children in various roles. Rachel is experienced in policy analysis, counseling, customer service, and media production.

Rachel Phan attended Jesuit High School in Portland from 2012 to 2016. Rachel then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Sustainability Management at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago from 2016 to 2020.
