VP, Substations & Renewables at Valard Construction

Dave has over 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, eight years with Valard Construction. Before his executive appointment, Dave oversaw all substation projects’ construction, supervising the “day-to-day” operations and the crews’ performance to ensure projects were handled safely and on schedule. He has worked on projects like the West Fort McMurray Project, building the Livock and Thickwood Hills substations, and many other substations across Canada.

Dave’s work philosophy is to raise the standards on project delivery. As a journeyman electrician by trade, his strengths come from an operational standpoint working across all project phases to ensure safe, successful field execution and consistent delivery across all projects. He does this without compromising his commitment to Valard’s safety and quality culture.

Dave’s experience and expertise allow the company to continue to grow within the substation industry.
