Bert Noland

Bert Noland is an experienced professional in the field of electronic systems and dynamic positioning operations, with a career spanning several decades. Noland served in the United States Air Force as a Communications Electronic Technician and Instructor from October 1982 to April 2003, honing expertise in the operation, maintenance, and repair of communication equipment. Following military service, Noland held positions with multiple companies, including Chief Electronic Tech at Transocean, where responsibilities included managing rig-wide electronic systems, and as a DPO at Global Industries, focusing on dynamic positioning and electronic technologies. Currently, Noland is a Senior DPO and has been freelancing since June 2018, while also contributing as a 6th Gen Chief Electronic Tech at Ensco plc. Educational credentials include an Associate in Applied Science in Electronic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, earned between 1995 and 1997.
