Jason Smith

Jason Smith is an experienced designer and maker with a diverse background in industrial design and custom furniture creation. Since January 2014, Jason has operated Lottsmith Design, specializing in building custom furniture that fuses reclaimed and natural materials with industrial elements. Currently serving as an industrial designer at VALD since May 2016, Jason contributes to projects like the NordBord Hamstring Testing System. Additionally, Jason owns Bikesmith, a bicycle repair and servicing business that fosters community connections through a shared passion for cycling. Previous roles include industrial designer at Clandestine Design Group and various positions at renowned design firms, complemented by a BA (Hons) in Furniture & Product Design from Nottingham Trent University.
