Armando Macaringue

Armando Macaringue has extensive experience in the engineering and mining sectors, beginning with a trainee role at Mozal, SARL (now SOUTH 32) in 2008. Subsequently, Armando served as a Production Engineer at Vale Moçambique, overseeing production operations, implementing quality control programs, and creating efficient processes. Progressing to Mechanical Engineer at Vale from 2010 to 2013, responsibilities included interpreting engineering specifications and participating in commissioning processes. Currently, Armando holds the position of Sr Mechanical Engineer at Vale since June 2018, focusing on process improvement and safety management, while also managing multi-disciplinary projects as a Snr Mechanical Engineer in Project & Contract at Vulcan Resources Moçambique since April 2022. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Project Management and a Master of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering, along with degrees in Mechanical Maintenance and Mechanical Engineering.
