Augusto Sá

Augusto Sá is a seasoned professional in the steelmaking industry with a focus on the characterization of raw materials, sintering plants, blast furnaces, and electric arc furnaces. They hold a master's degree in Materials Engineering from Montanuniversität Leoben and have accumulated extensive experience in technical assistance, process improvements, and decarbonization initiatives within steel production. Currently, Augusto serves as the South America Technical Manager for Iron Ore Technical Marketing at Vale, providing technical support and managing key performance indicators in production systems and product quality. Previously, they held various roles at ArcelorMittal, including Blast Furnace Manager, where they led a team to achieve safety and production goals.
