Carl O'Brien

Carl O'Brien is an experienced professional in health, safety, and risk management, currently serving as the Health Safety and Risk Superintendent at Vale since September 2005. In previous roles at Vale, Carl has held positions including Health, Safety and Risk Manager for Newfoundland and Labrador (Interim), and Health, Safety and Risk Manager for Long Harbour Operations, focusing on leadership and the implementation of health and safety management systems. Additional experience includes developing safety programs and procedures as a Safety & Health Supervisor and supporting operations as a Supervisor/Coach.
