Cecília Chaves

Cecília Chaves is a dedicated professional in sustainability, social development, ESG, and socioeconomics, with a strong belief in the power of transformation to drive positive change through and for individuals. They began their career in environmental sustainability, focusing on field activities across various communities, particularly in Minas Gerais and Bahia, where they executed environmental programs and coordinated socioeconomic research teams. Currently, Cecília works as a Master Sustainability Analyst at Vale, managing social reparatory processes related to the Fundão Dam disaster. They also have a background in academia, having taught at Faculdade Pitagoras and Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. Cecília holds a Master’s in Human Sciences and Health and an MBA in Project Management from Universidade de São Paulo.
