Cheryl Allen is currently the Manager of Vent Design & Tech Support at Vale, where they have held various leadership roles since 2018. Previously, Cheryl served as a Technical Leader in multiple capacities at Vale and was a Sr. Ventilation Engineer at Hudbay Minerals Inc. from 1994 to 2005. They began their career as a Mine Engineer at ASARCO before transitioning to a Ventilation Planner at Inco. Cheryl earned a B.S. in Mining Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and holds a degree in Political Science from Black Hills State University.
