Edson Miranda is a seasoned mining executive with extensive experience in the industry, having managed operations at Rio Tinto Iron Ore from 1993 to 2009 as the General Manager of MCR in Corumbá, MS. Currently, Edson holds the position of General Manager of Manganese at Vale, overseeing mining operations in Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Pará. Edson earned a degree in Mining Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and completed the Transformational Leadership Program at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2011.
