Emil Muniz

Emil Muniz, PMP, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and planning, particularly in social investment and infrastructure projects. Currently serving as the General Manager of Northern Social Value at Vale since May 2011, Emil has led a $1B social investment initiative in partnership with the government of Pará, overseeing a team of over 5,000 professionals across 22 cities. Emil has held various roles within Vale, including Planning and Contract General Manager and Integration Project Manager, focusing on strategic project implementation and performance metrics. Prior experience includes planning engineering roles at Grupo Queiroz Galvão, ARCADIS Logos Engenharia, Concremat, and GEOCRET Engenharia e Tecnologia, where Emil contributed to significant infrastructure projects. Emil is further enhancing expertise through an MBA in Leadership and Management from USP/Esalq and a specialization in Project Management from Fundação Dom Cabral.
