Frederico Mello

Frederico Mello, MSc, PMP, has extensive experience in IT project and program management within the mining sector, currently serving as an IT Specialist Program/Project Manager at Vale since October 2010. Noteworthy accomplishments include leading the strategic Lighthouse Carajás program, which achieved a productivity increase and captured USD 80 million in benefits within 12 months, and managing the project portfolio for the Business Solutions directorate, resulting in a 50% reduction in the portfolio in just six months. Prior to Vale, Frederico worked at Siemens as a software development engineer, focusing on MES and PIMS systems for mining and steel industries. Frederico holds a Bachelor's degree in Control and Automation Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
